My two girls! They both have birthdays in March, so it makes it easy to get their yearly pictures done together. They are quiet the pair. Bri is smart, kind, OUTGOING, fun, talkative, beautiful, energetic and exhausting. Avery is silly, fun, sassy, chatty (although she is behind on words a bit), animal loving, wiggly, beautiful, sweet, fun loving and sparkly eyed. Being their mom is such an honor. I never expected that THIS job of being their mom would be so hard. They defiantly give me a run for my money every day. But, I love it so much. There have been days that I wished I could go back to work for a "break". But, I have never once regretted being at home, guiding these two little people to be awesome. Some days are harder than others, but we make it through. We try to stay busy, stay active and get together with friends and family.

Pictures To Remember - Mesa Family Photographer

This was a very emotional shoot. I had shot Cristina's Family last year in the fall. When I got the phone call about this shoot, I was so touched. I think as a photographer, you take pictures in hopes that these are for memories, images so you can remember how little your kids were, capture a moment in time. Cristina's mom, Linda was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. They wanted to get pictures to be able to remember their mom and grandma. At several moments in the shoot we were all crying, no sobbing. Unfortunately, Linda passed away from this terrible disease in September 2016. I know Cristina, her family and Linda's husband are all very thankful to have these pictures.

It was a warm, beautiful January afternoon in a perfect Mesa, AZ backyard. Tyler and Candace had been planning on this day for moths. Candace an Etsy.com shop owner was so creative and very busy the days leading up to their special day. She added so many special and personal touches that made this backyard wedding stand out above other.  I loved being part of such a fun day. I look forward to capturing many more weddings in the coming years.

Avery Turns One!

My sweet baby girl. Today you turn one. I cannot even imagine what God has in store for you. You are so fun. You have brought so much joy to our family. You can always make us laugh with the silly faces you make with your tongue. You love your big sister Bri and have really enjoyed being with mommy everywhere I go. I pray for you even night. I ask God to make mommy the best mommy I can be for you! I pray for wisdom, patience and humility when praying for you. I know His plan is perfect! I cannot wait to see you grow! XOXO
